0900 Meet at Seathwaite Farm, Borrowdale.
Come and climb to the summit of Scafell Pike from Seathwaite. This is a fantastic journey which will see you first ascend to Styhead Pass, and then toward the summit of Scafell Pike using the Corridor Route. The ascent is generally varied between short steeper sections and flatter parts. Once you get to Lingmell Col you will have a 40 minute section that is more sustained than any other part of the walk, and it also becomes much more rugged underfoot at this point.
From the summit of Scafell Pike you will head back northward over slopes of Broad Crag and Ill Crag to Esk Hause, enjoying a higher level route and enjoying the views you worked so hard to see.
The final part of the route is a descent down Grains Gill back to Seathwaite Farm.
This is a fully guided experience, led by a professionally qualified and first aid trained leader. The group will be a maximum of 10 people. The walk lasts in the region of 7 hours. You do need to have basic fitness to attend, but extensive hillwalking experience is not neccessary.
We have multiple 'Open Event' dates on throughout 2025 but if you can't make the date we can organise a bespoke experience for you.
