13V Ultra Recce Run - Keswick to Buttermere Section - 15th March
Geared towards 13 Valley Participants 
 
This official recce run will be hosted by LMG's experienced 'Run Guides'. The recce is an opportunity to see a section of the route, and ask our guides about ultra tips and advice. 
 
Recce Section
This recce will provide you the opportunity to run the Keswick to Buttermere section of the 13V route. We will run 24km, taking in 820m ascent. Estimated time for the run is 5-6 Hours. Full information, including a route GPX, can be downloaded from your booking confirmation email. 
 
Recce Run Ethics
This is not a race, nor an opportunity for you to see how long a section takes at 'race pace'. Your guides will guide the group in a way, and at a pace that best suits all abilities. Please come with the fact that this will be a far more social affair than a training run (even though it will of course be great training still!) firmly in your mind. 
With this said, please be safe in the knowledge the recce distance and ascent is within your capabilties. 
 
Recce Transport
The meet point will be the end of the recce run, and then we will get transport to the start of it. If you have the capability to be dropped at the start of the run, and picked up at the end, then please let us know so we know where to expect you. 
The recce transport will either be public or private bus transport.
