An excellent second day of our winter skills course which was spent with Ella, Tom, Lesley and Julie finding some slightly steeper terrain to experience.
We ascended to Brown Cove Crags and picked our way up some broken ground, climbing up some steeper snow slopes as we went. Everyone put their newfound skills to the test and it was ace to see personal decisions being made around what techniques to use and when.
The course was all wrapped up in the pub with some more chat surrounding avalanche awareness, accompanied by a bowl of chips!
