LMG Carol has been out on Scafell Pike today. Here's what she had to say:
"Well, what a blast of a day with such a lovely group of 6 friends. Rain, wind and poor visibility really didn’t dampen any spirits today, whether it be laughing, giggling, singing and dancing to more memorable moments of reflections on the summit of Scafell Pike for those close relatives that have sadly passed on. It really was such a pleasure to share the day with Erica, her 2 sisters, friends and not to mentioned Neil who they met at Ben Nevis a few years ago. We dodged most of the crowds by ascending Grains Gill to Esk Hause from Seathwaite and returning via the Corridor route, all in the midst of the Mountain Marathon event. Happy smiley faces all day makes me a happy guide!"
