This weekend Peter and Stephen joined us for private 2 day navigation training course. The pair were keen on improving their skills and a 2 day course is always ideal as it provides the opportunity to really consolidate what is learnt. The course was led by LMG Fliss and Saturday saw them enjoying the terrain at the back of Honister and Haystacks. A day of refreshing skills, talking tactics and getting to grips with the compass. Sunday was spent up on the super (navigationally) challenging Rosthwaite fell. This featurefull but pathless lump of Borrowdale is amazing at testing the skills and is at times mind-melting!
