Scafell Pike and Helvellyn guided walks

An adventurous two days hiking for the Gareh family over Wednesday and Thursday. Led by LMG Carol, Mel, Ben, Emily, Aaron and Pippa the dog had some mega adventures on two of the finest mountains in England. Wednesday saw them ascend Scafell Pike in gusty conditions from Seathwaite. Pippa the dog enjoyed the ride (and a sleep) in the pack as the family battled on to the summit and back. On Thursday it was time to head for Hellvellyn. The original plan was Striding Edge but the winds remained strong and so they opted for the more sheltered Swirral Edge. The family had a fab time and topped out to 50mph winds. A cracking effort by all, particularly the youngsters who walked the furthest they'd ever walked for two days in a row. #LivefortheNow
