What a day for a long run. That's exactly what returning client Nathalie was after and today the Lake District delivered, along with the help of LMG James of course. Nathalie was keen to do a route that replicated her recent marathon run abroad, so 26 miles with 1500m of ascent thrown in. After an early start in Ambleside the pair headed out over Loughrigg and onwards over Blea Rigg to Sergeant Man. They descended to Stickle Barn Tavern for a Cola before heading on trails over to Blea Tarn and then southwards past Holme Fell. Now heading eastwards they visited and swam in Tarn Hows before starting to swing back northwards. Another dip in the river at Skelwith and a final ascent past Loughrigg and that was the route done. Well done, Nathalie! #LivefortheNow
