Insane conditions on Scafell Pike last night as I led these 6 chaps up as part of their National 3 Peaks Challenge. After getting up and down Ben Nevis in just 5 hours I knew they would do well on Scafell Pike. It was a warm start but this didn't slow them and we reached the summit in a shade under 2 hours. We had the whole mountain to ourselves, the air clarity was incredible and the fells were golden. What an absolute treat. We took some time to soak it up before heading down to a brilliant sunset. Total time was just 3 hours 45 - well done. The group were raising money for a girl at their child's school who needs specialist cancer care and to date the total fundraising efforts (of which their N3P is part of) they have helped raised over £113k! Well done!!!
