Oh wow, what a day for our Borrowdale10 Challenge! This mega 12 mile route takes on 10 fells in upper Borrowdale and on a day like today it couldn't have been a better route to be on. We set off at 7am and our first fell was Seathwaite Fell. From here we bagged Allen Crags and then gained more height as we climbed Great End. Ill crag, Broad Crag and Scafell Pike all fell fast and we stopped for a great break on Scafell Pike at around 11:30, we'd done super. Lingmell was next and we then descended to Corridor route to Styhead Pass. The crux of the route awaited, Great Gable. With 400m of ascent in the heat of the day it was going to be tough but everyone dug in and before we knew it we were up on it's amazing summit. After soaking up the views we continued over Great Gable and then finally our 10th peak, Base Brown, was reached. All feeling a bit tired and sun kissed we got to the finish after 10.5 hours, a mega effort for sure! Well done and thanks all. #LivefortheNow
