A great short walk with Larry and Susan. This is the third trip to the Lakes for these Philadelphia based walkers and their first where it hasn't been raining. They've explored most options around Keswick such as Catbells and Walla Crag and so the obvious decision was Haystacks! We enjoyed the walk over to the sun drenched summit, taking in all the fine views as we went. On the way back we cut across the wilder terrain behind Inonimate Tarn before dropping back to Honister. Now where's that aftersun...
