Whilst I was out and about with the expedition team yesterday LMG Geoff was also on Helvellyn running a one day winter skills course for these three chaps.
Once in the snowline they managed to cover avalanche awareness, crampon and axe use, some ice axe arresting, as well as doing a round of Helvellyn's edges!
