The second Lakes scramble of the weekend was Blencathra based and I had the pleasure of 6 new clients and 1 returning for this day out. Our day started from Threlkeld and we ventured up onto the magnificent Halls Fell Ridge. We experienced rain on the way up but fortunately the rock was dried quickly thanks to the wind. The team did excellently and had a great time on the ridge and as we got just below the summit of Blencathra it became clear a traverse of Sharp Edge was not a wise idea due to the gusty winds. Alas, it's not going anywhere and so we descended via Blease Fell chatting and laughing all the way.
