Scrambling in Wales - Dolmen Ridge

The scrambling fun continued for James and Mark today on what James reckons must be one of the finest scrambles in Snowdonia. They started from ogwen cottage and went up to Lyn idwal before skirting towards Y Griben and over to Glyder Fach main face. They climbed Dolmen ridge, and the cloud arrived for a few hours whilst they scrambled. They topped out in the cloud and traversed the glyders in the cloud, and James put Mark's nav skills to the test as he got mark to navigate him back down (over glyders and over Y garn). The cloud finally broke and they were treated to a warm 20 degree sunshine up Y garn and spectacular view down ogwen.

A fab day out for sure! Well done Mark and thanks James!
