Day 2 of our Lake District Winter Skills Course this weekend was a little more alpine than day 1! We set off from Seathwaite and ventured up onto Seathwaite Fell where the five of us enjoyed some nav practice in the sun. As we reached Sprinkling Tarn for some lunch Dom and Laura descended as they had to get home and myself, Nell and Toby were looking to get some more axe and crampon practice in on steeper terrain. We picked our way up towards the crags on Great End and then ascended a fun, short but steep little gully to the top. Suitably happy we soaked up the amazing views and descended back to Seathwaite.
That's it now for all our scheduled courses for this winter- thanks all, its been mega!
