Another tough day on Helvellyn today...
I had the absolute pleasure of guiding Sophie around Helvellyn's edges. Today was Sophie's first time in crampons and so after an intro we ventured up Swirral Edge which she not only tackled easily but loved. The summit again had an alpine feel, from which we down climbed the steep snow bank at the top of Striding Edge and then enjoyed a 'summer' traverse of it.
