Super- Alpine times on Helvellyn today with Father and son triple Ian, Al and Marcus.
Spring like in the valleys and excellent snow conditions up top yet again. We ventured up a very wintry Swirral Edge and covered crampon use along the way and then carefully descended the steep snow covered exit ramp onto a snow-free Striding Edge.
A fab day topped off with a beer in Glenridding - and now Rugby and tea at home! Helvellyn day 3 of 3 tomorrow! #LivefortheNow
