Approaching Helvellyn from the East instead, James what out with Tim on day 1 of a 2 day winter skills course with us. They too loved being out in the stellar conditions and managed to cover all sorts of skills from cramponing to avalanche awareness, as well as an ascent of Helvellyn via Swirral Edge. Tomorrow Tim will be putting his new skills to good use as we head on a bit of a journey and focus on navigation. Thanks James! #LivefortheNow
