Awesome day out with father and son duo, Ian and Max. Today was their ascent of their final National Peak, Scafell Pike. We ventured on up via the Brown tongue Path from Wasdale and descended via Lingmell nose. We were fortunate enough to get some fab views most of the day, and once back in the valley it was so warm we couldn't resist a dip in the ghyll.
Despite the blue skies and sunshine it was bitterly cold up there today, so if you're not already now is the time to ensure you pack your hat, gloves, extra layer and warm drink! It'll be worth the weight if you need it :)
