On Saturday myself and Trainee Leader Beatrice had the pleasure of taking out the Ayling family onto Striding Edge and Helvellyn. It was a horrific start to the day as the rain was bucketing it down, but fortunately it all brightened up and we eventually dried off! The family all enjoyed pushing their personal boundaries on Striding Edge and Swirral Edge. A real pleasure to be out with such a lovely bunch. It was also quite cool being out ahead of our other Helvellyn group and grabbing some snaps of them from a distance.
