This weekend may be our busiest ever as so many people have chosen LMG to host their adventures. On Saturday we have:
68 fundraisers for Orphans in Need on Snowdon, a private walk for a couple on Scafell Pike, a group of 12 on Helvellyn and a family of 8 on Helvellyn, a family of 5 on Ben Nevis - oh and 8 challengers starting the Lakes 3000's Challenge!
On Sunday we have the Lakes 3000's challenge finishing in the afternoon, another group on Ben Nevis and a family taking on Snowdon.
Thanks to all the leaders making this happen this weekend. It is clear that we will undoubtedly be having an impact on the mountains on weekends like this simply through footfall from commercial activities, so we will be making a donation to the Snowdonia Society, Nevis Landscape Partnership and Fix The Fells at the end of the season in order to support and thank them for their work.
