Scheduled Events & Courses for 2025
Here you will find 'Open Event' day walks, challenge events and skills courses all available for you to book on to. Expect to meet likeminded people and have a fabulous day out. For most of our Open Events we operate with small groups to ensure you get a personal experience. Each event or course will give you an indication as to who it is best suited for, but if you're unsure feel free to contact us first.
We can offer bespoke experiences for pretty much everything we offer so if the date doesn't fit or if you want to arrange your own day for yourself, your group, charity or workplace we can arrange it.

WINTER SEASON 24/25 SKILLS COURSES
Due to our international expeditions, we have a limited offering this year of our Mountain & Winter Skills Courses. These are ideal for those wanting to upskill themselves in mountain craft, and if we have snow - we'll be getting the sharp pointy things out too! (Technical kit hire, including boots is available at the bottom of this page).
SCHEDULED GUIDED WALKS, CHALLENGES AND SCRAMBLES FOR 2025
These walks are open to people of mixed fitness and mixed hiking experience levels. If you're uncertain about your suitability to any of our events please don't hesitate to contact us. The 2025 walks, challenges and scramble events are sponsored by ASOLO. Everyone who participates in one of these events will be entered into a prize draw to win a pair of ASOLO boots at the end of the season.
SCHEDULED NAVIGATION TRAINING COURSES FOR 2025
These courses are ideal for those wanting to grasp the basics of map and compass navigation. We do get people come along to refresh their skills, and an increasing amount of people who feel they're over-reliant on mobile technology to navigate.
You'll find we have two styles of course. One Aimed at walkers, and another new course for 2025 called 'Navigation for Trail Runners'
If you can't see a date to suit, we do bespoke courses on dates to suit you or your group from £200.

NIGHT SERIES EVENTS IN 2025
Ever wanted to witness a gorgeous sunrise, or sunset, from the top of a mountain? Our Night Series events offer you that exact opportunity. Join our guided group walks and have a superb night-time experience on a classic mountain. What's more, every participant who attends one of our 2025 LightUpU Night Series events will be entered into prize draw to win a bundle of LightUpU goodies!
13 VALLEYS ULTRA EVENT RECCES
LMG are the official providers of the 2025 13 Valley Ultra event recces. Below you will see a roster of recce dates which cover elements of all the events that take place at the 13V Ultra weekend. These are led by experienced Run Guides who are directly involved with the organisation of the event, so you're in great hands.
