For years we've been trusted by companies and organisations with the task of hosting their 'Team Away Days'. Sometimes, these days are simply an opportunity to get out of the office, or as a means of raising money for charity. There is however the chance of using such days as a way of bonding a team, to help them develop personal skills an build confidence, and of course to develop leadership skills.

The possibilities for such trips are almost endless, and so this page describes some of the options, but please don't hesitate to get in touch with us so we can tailor the trip to suit your exact needs. We can also help arrange accommodation, lunches and transport as per your requirements. Please see a guide price for the accommodation element towards the bottom of this page.
We can cater for single or multi-day trips.
Below you will find some suggested packages, as well as activities we can use a medium to deliver the day(s), but ultimately every package we develop will be bespoke to your wants, needs and requirements.

Leadership Development

Make better leaders of your managers / captains / higher level staff. By using a healthy mix of leadership models, and outdoor activities, we can develop your leader's effectiveness, communication and style.

This can be run as a single day, but does suit multiple days better as there are increased opportunities to naturally develop the individual.

Our speciality, and with it being available UK wide, we can find or create a route to suit your needs. Challenge walks are often a great way to raise funds for charity, with walks such as the Yorkshire or National 3 Peaks being popular options.

A half day walk is a great pairing with another activity.

Ghyll Scrambling

Ghyll scrambling, also known as Gorge Walking, is a superb activity which will see you ascend or descend a canyon. The canyon may have small slides, jumps or waterfalls to climb. Suitable for all abilities, as long as there is a moderate level of water confidence.

All technical kit supplied, just swimming gear, shorts spare shoes and a towel are needed.

Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata is an awesome, cliffside adventure. Climb ladders, cross infinity bridges and have tonnes of fun with limited skills required. Moderate fitness required - click here to see full requirements.

Rock Climbing & Abseiling

The Lake District offers up some fantastic opportunities to take things a bit more vertically! There's no doubt about it, Rock Climbing and Abseiling is a superb way for people to push some boundaries, and there is also the chance to learn some new skills along the way.

One thing we're not short of in the Lake District is places to go and do watersports! Canoeing, paddleboarding and raft building work in most weathers, and there are loads of fun tasks which can be undertaken whilst enjoying a paddle too. It's a great activity to team up with any of our other half day activities.

Complete the Package

We've made it super easy for you and your team to create the complete package. Below you will find accommodation options. transport can also be organised for the duration of the event, with station (Penrith) pick ups and drop offs available upon request. Transport prices will vary upon group size, so will be provided upon enquiry.

Accommodation prices, which include breakfast, a packed lunch, and a £30 allowance for dinner on the hotel's on site restaurant are:
