Established in 2012, Lakeland Mountain Guides has earned a reputation as one of the leading providers of outdoor adventures in the Lake District — and beyond.

Guided mountain walks across the UK have been the cornerstone of our business from day one. Over the years, we’ve helped thousands of people reach their goals, whether it’s standing atop iconic peaks like Scafell Pike or Snowdon, or conquering legendary challenges such as the National or Yorkshire Three Peaks.

But we didn’t stop there.

Lakeland Mountain Guides quickly evolved into a full-spectrum adventure company, offering experiences like rock climbing, ghyll scrambling, via ferrata, summer and winter mountain skills courses — and even mountain running. Our deep-rooted expertise has seen us host large-scale charity events for groups of over 100 participants, as well as bespoke corporate events for well-known brands.

More recently, we've taken on key event safety roles, using our expert knowledge of the mountains and highly qualified team to support top-tier outdoor events with professionalism and precision.
